Welcome to Room 14 - Computer Suite.

This term all Year 7 students will be attending computer classes and will be working around the school theme of 'School Community'.  Each student will be looking at who they are, where they have come from, and where they would like to go while a member of the Masterton Intermediate community.

In addition to this, some of the syndicate one students will be using the computer suite as part of their Extension Programme this term.  These children will be looking at extending their movie making skills further so to create more visually interesting movies.

The computer suite will also be used as part of the Options (Digital Photography) and Arts Enrichment (Comic Life) programme so it will be very busy all around.

All students recieve an internet safety contract upon enroling at Masterton Intermediate School.  This is designed to ensure that students understand their responsibilities when using the internet to keep themselves safe.  It is also a way for the school to responsibily monitor computer usage and publishing of student images and work to the community and beyond.  Students who have not filled out or signed their contract will bring a contract home over the first few days of this term.  Please can you discuss this with your child, fill out and sign along with the students and return to school as soon as possible.  Students are not eligible to use computers within the school until this has been returned.  Alternatively, a copy of this contact can be downloaded off the school website.
