Welcome to Room 8 2010

The year has started, and great learning is happening in our Room. I am looking forward to meeting more parents at the meet the Teacher Evening on Thursday 18th February.

The class are coming together well as a Team, testing is underway to see our strengths and weaknesses, and classroom expectations have been set. We are having fun!

We are part of Syndicate Two - rooms 5, 6, 7 and us in 8. Our Teachers are Mrs Bunny, Mr O'Farrell and Miss Stewart. We are lucky to have several Teacher Aides working with us - Mrs Bysouth with our Syndicate and Mandy Kruszona with Room 8.

Movement through our School Community.

With our 50th School Jubilee coming up in May, we will be looking at the changes that have occured during these years. Today in Maths (Statistics) we gathered data and graphed it about our parents and grandparents school attendance.

Congratulations to Taylah and Kenneth elected Student Councillors for our class. From this close election we also selected a Sports Leader - Liam.

We have lots of children signed up for Music Lessons. It's great to see lots of keenness to be involved in many aspects of School life.
