Welcome to Room 10, 2012

A big welcome to the 2012 school year at Masterton Intermediate, especially to those of ou who are new to our school and our class. My name is Mrs Mason and this year I'm really looking forward to getting to know you all better.

This year I'm looking forward to keeping you up to date with what's happening in Room 10 and at Masterton Intermediate via our class blog so please keep checking regularly to see what we have been up to.

its hard to believe already that we are into Week 4, and its been really cool to see people getting involved with what we have to offer, already people have joined Kapa Haka, Choir, Tennis, Softball, Chess, Agri Kids, signed up for musical instruments! Keep getting involved guys and make the most of all the cool things we have available.

We have also done some new things school wide like naming our syndicates after Wairarapa rivers

The new names are as follows;

Syndicate 1= Rooms 1, 2, 3, 4 "Waipoua"

Syndicate 2= Rooms 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 "Waingawa"

Syndicate 3= Room 10, 11, 12, 13 "Waiohine"

Technicraft= Design Tech, Science, Music, Cooking "Ruamahanga"

The teachers in our syndicate are as follows:

Room 10: Mrs Jessica Mason

Room 11: Mrs Anna Hodge-Wilton

Room 12: Ms Rebekah Mehrtens

Room 13: Miss Ginny Wingate

We are also fortunate to have Mrs Nicola Bysouth and Mrs Tracey Ousey working as Teacher Aides within our Syndicate.

A big thank you to all of you who have paid your stationery fee $30 and school fees of $25 per term of $70 for the year if paid before the end of Feb.
