We have had a teacher come to our school to teach us about photogrophy.  We went in to Room13 and went on to a green screen and took photos acting like we were on space and then stuck a background on and one on Mount Everest.

This term we have been looking into historic world events and how they have changed our society today.

Tama and Jamie put together an i Movie to illustrate some excellent pieces of descriptive language that were found throughout our recount writing.

It celebrates our writing in Term 2 and pays tribute to all those whose lives were effected by these tragedies.

Please follow the link to see our i Movie

Hi everyone,

Just a quick note explaining the reading homework for the remainder of the term.

Students in Room 5 have started a new reading programme where they are reading a novel/chapter book. Each Day 2, 4 and 6 on our timetable we will be discussing and responding to the chapters students have read. Therefore, It is crucial that students read up to the target chapters. There is some class time available for them to read but it would be helpful to them to read at home too.

The books must be returned at the end of the term.

Thanks,

Steph Bunny

At the end of last term we really enjoyed a class Homework Auction for those who completed homework assigned to them. This will continue in Term 2 so encourage your kids to collect as many dollars as they can by completing their homework.
