Term Two

Wow - Already half way through the term. What a busy but fun term we have had.

In Room 9 this term we are focusing on the Soccer World Cup with students studying countries that are participating. We will be writing explanation and response pieces of writing that relate directly to the Soccer World Cup.

Students will also be given the opportunity to create a cup art piece that reflects their countries culture, langauge and history.

Havelock North Sports exchange is coming up very quickly with students workng hard to gain a place in their chosen sports teams. We are all looking forward to the annual exchange and hope to see a lot if fun had by both schools.
