Term 2 Year 7's

This term see's the year 7 students learning the basics of wood technology.  We have introduced the safety requirements and the rules that are expected of every student to ensure their safety in this practical environment.

Title pages have been completed with some excellent results from most students, however there were a few that needed to complete a lunch-time session to finish this task.

The students first made a sanding block which allows them to get a full understanding of how the workshop operates and where the tools are located, we have now started the memo holder and the students are all progressing well.

In Options the students are designing and making a carving, Arts Enrichment are learning to draw in one and two point perspective and Syndicate Extension some students who have difficulty telling the time are designing and making their own clock.
