Term 2 - Room 9

Welcome back to Term 2

I trust you all had a nice easter break and maybe for some of you a wee holiday.

Term 2 brings us a range of fun activites and sports tournaments,

I am encouraging students to get involved in the many activites avaliable to help them stay focused as term two is 11 weeks this term.

Our classroom topic is soccer world cup - this relates to our term theme of 'movement in our world'. This week students will be selecting a country from the soccer world cup to research. Tasks they will undertake this term are some of the following

-what culture

-what language

-cultural lunch day where students bring food from their culture

-cup art - students will produce a piece of art in the form of a cup that displays aspects of their country.

 

Small homework tasks will be given over the term to enable students to fit everything in. Also any uncompleted work will be sent home for finishing.

Wow -  a big term ahead -
