Science Room update

The Chemistry unit being taught to the year 8 students continues to challenge us as we experiment with litmus paper, universal testing paper and cabbage juice indicator. We have learnt about the many properties of acids and bases.

 

 

 

The Option One group Let's Experiment has had alot of fun exploring many science concepts.

 

 

 

 

Our Option Two group Environmental Science had an excellent trip to Pukaha Mt Bruce on Friday 5th March to study native trees. While we were there we presented a cheque to Captain Rat ( Tom ) from our mufti day towards the rat control program.
