Room 9 term 3 outline

Welcome to term 3

During term 3 we wil be hosting Shijonawate Gakuen Junoir High school group from Japan. hey will be arriving at MIS on August the 2nd at 4:30 and leaving on August the 13th.

This is our term outline, it looks to be a quiet term.........

...YEAH RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!...

  • Mathletics competition at Havelock North Intermediate, leaving on the 3rd of August retuning on August the 5th.
  • School Social on August the 5th, in the M.I.S hall. It starts at 7.00 and it finishes at 9.30.  
  • Friday, August the 6th, there is a Wairarapa Chess Tournament at Carterton School.
  • On Wednesday, the 11th of August, there is going to be super sport netball at the Colombo Road courts.
  • On Monday, 16th of August, there is a board of trustees meeting at 5:30 p.m .
  • Tuesday, 17th of August, Choir and Wearablearts at Artsplash in Wellington.
  • Wednesday, the 18th of August, we have the super sport rugby, in Wanganui.
  • Thursday, 19th of August, the talent quest heats start in the hall at lunchtimes.
  • Tuesday, the 24th of August, we have an open night for prospective enrolments in the hall, at 7.00pm.
  • Wednesday, August the 25th, the science fair starts-and it's on the next day.
  • Friday, the 27th of August, the school is closed for a staff meeting with Stephen Graham.
  • Tuesday, 31st of August, there is a science road show at Chanel College for selected students.
  • Wednesday, the 1st of september, we have super sport soccer in Levin.
  • Friday,september the 3rd, Kapa Haka group performing at Makoura College Evening concert starting at 7.00 p.m.
  • Tuesday, the 7th of september, a group of children are going to writer's camp at Castle Point until, Thursday the 9th.
  • Monday, 13th of September, there is another board of trustees meeting at 5.30 p.m.
  • Tuesday, 14th September, there is a Variety concert matinee for contributing schools.
  • Wednesday, 15th of September, Waterman rugby tournament at Trentham Memorial Park.
  • Thursday, the 16th of September, we have another Variety concert in the school hall at 7.00pm.
  • Friday,17th of September, Variety concert 2 in the school hall at 7.00 p.m.
  • Tuesday, the 21st of Semterber the japan trip departs, returing october.
  • Wednesday,september 22nd of september principal's day out for three selected students from each class.
  • Friday,september 24th of september A free mufti day day for students thatwith 0 or 1 detentions in term 3 if the school total is less than 57(the total for term 2, 2010)School will close as normal at 3.oo p.m.
