Room 12's Theme Work

Welcome to the Room 12 blog it has been a very busy term with lots of learning and fun. It is also very tradgic because our principal Mr. Mailmen and our deputy principal Mr. T are leaving the school. Mr. Mailmans replacement will be Mrs. Kara Mason. The school wishes Mr. Mailman and Mr. T a very bright future

In Room 12 we have been looking at diferent aspects of Ireland such as food, sport, people, places and music. During theme we have learnt about Brian O'Driscoll and his skill with the game of rugby. Brian O'Driscoll is the captain for the Irish rugby team.

For music we have learnt about the music that Irish bands and singers have sang for example some of the bands we have learnt about are The Cranberries, The Dubliners and Sinead O'Conner  The Cranberries are a band in Ireland, They play many fine songs one of their well known songs are Zombies.

In class we are doing posters about one of the different aspects we have learnt about the students of Room 12 have made very creative posters to go towards the novelty sports day but due to the predicted weather forecast the novelty sports day has been cancelled.
