Welcome to Room 1

What a great start to 2010.

There are many trials happening this term including rock band, J Rock, canoe polo, cricket, badminton, softball and much much more. It's great to see the students really getting involved this year in the extra curricula activities that M.I.S has to offer.

Congratulations to our elected class councillors Josh and Josh

 

HOWEVER... Rumour has it that Room 1 is going to recieve the wooden spoon but Miss Rijnaarts has a plan...

We shall recieve our award with dignity and with our heads held high and with a little creativity.

 

No wonder we didn't win with a stance like that, and one of the team memebers is crying with of sheer desperados!

Term 2

 

This term is going to be extremely hectic with the Havelock North exchange, J Rock, Super Sports competitions, writer's extension and speech extension groups, the Jubilee and new staff too! Our theme is movement in the world and our focus topic in Syndicate One is wonders of the world.

A nervous looking Sion before the syndicate speeches. Sion did a very interesting and comical speech on jokes.

 The year 8 students are working hard in music.
