A positive start. Most students are coming organised to class and are working with enthusiasm. Continued practise at home will build confidence
Students should have completed their Title Pages in Food Book. It should reflect the cooking programme for the Term. Their book needs to be kept with pride and interest in the form of colour, pictures and drawings and hopefully will be a record of their two year programme.
At present we are working toward accurate measuring of liquid and basic fractions in food preparation at this level. Students should be reminded each night after a foods lesson to notify parents and caregivers of their food needs for the next lesson.
Once students have completed the measurement unit we will this term complete the Healthy Breakfast Unit in line with the Home Economics Curriculum.
