Over the past week in Room1 we have had a very funny 'nek minute' assembly and Mr Mailman's farewell assembly from which the orchestra, choir, kapa haka and the rock band performed.

We have been tested a whole lot over the past week, we have had

  • the star test which is reading skills,
  • the GAP test which is litiracy,
  • the PAT test which is a mathematics test,
  • and the hand writing test.

Every one has done extremely well in these tests epecially the star test.

We were going to have a novelty sports day on Wednesday for the Rugby World Cup but as Mr Mailman anounced in assembly it has been cancelled due to a bad weather forecast. This is sad because it was going to be a very fun day of sports and countries.
