Term Three Year 8's are into Designing

Technicraft

This term the Year 8 students are working in pairs and designing and making their own money container. They are required to come up with an idea of their choice with the use of sketches, after which they will produce a 2-dimensional drawing showing the different views and sizes that the project is going to be.

With my help, they will then come up with a cutting list of the materials and sizes required to get under way.

Year 7's Memo Holders

The year 7's have just completed their Memo Holders with some very good results being achieved. Some of the intricate art work that has been produced with the burners has certainly enhanced the projects.

Our next two lessons is going to be teaching the students the easy steps to sketching with confidence.
