We are over half way through the pool games for the Rugby World Cup and there have been some big games so far. Based on the games that you have seen, answer this question:

This week I taught the students how to upload audio to their blog using a Web 2.0 tool called uploadmusic.org. This is a simple tool that is accessed online and creates a code for your sound file that can then be embedded into your blog.

Welcome to the Masterton Intermediate School Open Night.
Tonight in the Computer Suite we have students who are demonstrating some of the Web 2.0 tools that we use for learning and presenting our ideas and work. Web 2.0 is a collection of online, interactive resources that can be accessed by and sometimes edited by people from any internet source in the world.

I would like to think that the students enjoy coming to Computers to work. First of all, it is always warm in winter and cool in summer, regardless of what the weather is outside as we have the best heat-pump in the school.

During term 2 a group of students worked in the Specialist Enrichment Programme to learn about how to make better movies. They looked at using a variety of shots and camera angles to make their footage interesting as well as how to use editing features better. Here are some of their final pieces of work:

What I really love about ICT is the learning that I go through also. ICT changes so quickly and I need to be aware of what is out there to offer the students.

This term in the Computer Suite the Options 1 group are going to be studying a favourite author. Each student has chosen an author that they like to read and are going to read and focus on two of their novels.
