In Room 10 we have being doing explanation writing. This is Lauren's Explanation, she wrote hers about how spiders spin webs.

In Room 10 we are studying England.  We are doing an interesting A-Z reading task . I have learnt about Big Ben which is the big clock in London. I also learnt about a nasty king called King Henry. He had many wives and got divored sevral times, he also be-headed two of his wives.

Mr T taught us a song that most people in England know. Its called 'Swing Low Sweet Chariot". This is the chorus.

Japanese Exchange

In Term 3 on the 2nd of August, 21 students from Shijonawate Gakuen Junior High School came to Masterton Intermediate.  They will be hosted by Masterterton Intermediate students involved with the Japanese exchange.  These Japanese students will experience how we live in New Zealand. 

 

Term 2 Principal's Day Out

This term 36 M.I.S students were recognised for their good behaivour and were selected to go on ''Principals Day Out''.On the day,they went rollerskating,mini putting,go-karting & swimming.The teacher that was chosen to go was Mrs Bunny from room 10.Here are some pictures of the day.ENJOY!!!!!!!

They tried and tried but the batteries were dead. Now how would they contact their parents. Jill flicked her long blonde hair out of her face,and told a sensational idea. As she announced it the green rainforest roared and started to cry water.
