Last Week in Term 3

We started Week 9 with the STAR test on Monday morning. (What a start to the week!!!) We have also completed the PAT Maths test and GAP Analysis Test.

This week we have our Mastey test for Te Reo Mastery Test and Measurement. For the last 3 weeks we have been learning all about Measurement in maths.

For Syndicate P.E we have been doing a rotation including Table Tennis with Mrs Roberts, Badminton with Mrs Brown, Soccer with Mrs Milne and Rugby with Miss Rijnaarts. We are going to study Russia at the end of the term so Mrs Haworth and Kati have drawn and painted the St Basil's Cathedral in Moscow.

Norm Hewitt

Norn Hewitt is a former All Black. He also won Dancing with the Stars TV programme.

On Tuesday 5 July Norm Hewitt spoke to us about the SPCA .

He told us the 5 main freedoms an animal needs to live a happy life:

Food and water

Vet care

Love

Shelter

Excercise

Havelock North Exchange

Some students have been put into a Havelock North Exchange team. Some of the sports that will be played at the Havelock North Exchange are Volleyball, Soccer, Rugby, Badminton, Chess, Basketball and Netball.
