This term the Year 8's have been developing digital procedures for folding origami shapes and animals. These are some of our final results:

We have been doing lots of tests in room 4 lately.

We have been learning a lot about Canda and where it is and all about the continents and oceans around Canda.  Soon we are learning the Candian national anthem.

The tabloid sports day has been cancelled at the moment.

What we have been doing in Room 4

Our country is Canda for the Tabloid sports day we have been colouring and making things to decorate our class room.

We have been watching movies with the subtitles for reading, the task is sometimes finding a word with over ten letters.  Like watching movies but alot better.

This is a wordle of Room 4 and what we do in our class.

On Monday some of the kids where having fun at school playing in the snow and they had a half day.

On Tuesday because of the snow school was also off.  Lucky!

Welcome back to Term 3 2011 with Room 4

Shijonawate Gakuen Junior High School is here for the Japanese Exchange, they are here until the 14th August 2011.

We have the school social on the 11th of August, it starts at 7:00 and ends at 9:30.

Monday 15th of August is a half day for parent teacher student confences.

On the 19th of August, a Friday there is a chess tournament.

Welcome Back to Term 3. I trust that you all enjoyed your holidays and had some good family time together. I had a fantastic honeymoon in Thailand, and am preparing for another busy term at MIS

Sports.

Havelock North Exchange.

On the 28th to the 29th of June , Havelock North Intermediate will be coming to M.I.S to participate in our Sports Exchange. The Sports being played are    Volley Ball, Netball, Badminton (Doubles and Singles), Soccer, Rugby, Touch, Chess and Table tennis. Thank you to all those Families who are willing to host the Havelock North Students that are coming to Masterton .
