Room 4's blog

Welcome to Room 4 start of Term 3

Hi to everybody interested in Room 4!

So far this term we have had many exciting events happen...

Rippa Rugby - We all thoroughly enjoyed our time spent playing rippa rugby with talented senior rugby players...we learnt new ball handling skills, increased our fitness and had fun playing against each other!

Our New Zealand Wonders

As part of the topic for this term the whole syndicate looked at Wonders of the World. The Year 8's created a wiki about different wonders and we decided to choose what we thought were the wonders of New Zealand.  Some of them are man-made and some of the are natural wonders and they are all pretty impressive, just like our wiki.  Please visit our wiki to have a look at our work and the rest of the syndicate and leave us some comments about how you think we have done.

During a literacy task we displayed a few different working methods-

working seperately, in pairs, groups, silently and having partnered discussions...

Room 4 are proud to present to you this movie!.. Enjoy :)

Adios!

Term 2 - What's happening...

Term 2 - What's happening...

Hello and welcome back to Term 2 in Room 4.

We have another busy term ahead - in and outside of the classroom.

This term, we are asking ourselves - "What makes us wonder?", closely looking at the Wonders of the World.  We wil inquire about a "Wonder" of interest and share our findings with the rest of the syndicate at the end of the term.

Oh the Places You'll Go

 Oh the Places You'll Go!

Recently, we having been reading and discussing the text "Oh the Places You'll Go!", by Dr. Seuss.  We have been looking at the different opportunities M.I.S. has to offer and have already become heavily involved in many of these.  Check out our pieces of art displayed in our classroom, relating to this text.
