Morning Everyone. This morning we had a really enthusiastic performance from our rock band- who don't actually have a name yet. Room 12 teacher, Mrs Mehrtens, decided to make them perform again ( poor rock band) because of poor audience participation (not from me of course) (well, maybe).

3 Amigos

Yesterday Room 13 had heaps of fun playing the 3 Amigos. The 3 Amigos is a trivia game where you have 2 teams of 3 players. 2 players face off ,the person that gets the question right stays standing and the  person that gets it wrong sits down. We used this game to practise our Te Reo Maori skills. Here are some photos:

Exposition Writing

This term we have been learning how to do exposition writing.

This week we read through an exposition letter called letter to the editor. It was about a lady complaining about how many adds are in the middle of t.v shows.

The Life Education Bus is at our school at the moment. In the Life Ed bus we are learning about drugs & acohol and how to look after our body.

Miss Wingate is now Mrs McClean!

Hi all. Well the wedding is well and truly over and the term is another busy one. Reuben and I had a wonderful day celebrating with family and friends, and we were very lucky with the weather. Room 13 have been fabulous and have pretty much got the name change down now - it is definitely helping me get use to my married name!
