Hi I'm Adriana and I am the digi kid for the Room 8 blog

 Room 7 and 8 are using the AVAILLL programme during reading to increase our reading comprehension, fluency and vocab.

We view movies - reading the subtitles.  "You've READ the movie now SEE the book"

One activity we enjoyed was 'Take a Dictionary to the Movies' .  The movie would stop on certain words and there would be a race to find the word in the dictionary.  The boys took the victory and we all learnt some new words.

At present we are viewing 'Hook', but next is March of the Penguins and Holes

We are doing lots of learning.
