Another Busy Term

Term 3 So Far....

The last few weeks have been very busy so far. With the Supersport Rugby, Talent Quest, and a whole lot more.

TALENT QUEST

In Room 10 we are very lucky to have some awesome talent in our class. This week Ashleigh, Matariki and yet to come Sean have taken part in the Talent Quest.

Matariki dancing away with Michael Jackson moves that were learnt and choreographed in our Syndicate Extension classes. Mrs Roberts did an awesome job!

Theme and Computers

Next up we have the year 8's learning about the Ancient Egyptians using the C.O.W (Computers on Wheels). Year 7s are attending classes with our computer teacher Mrs Kerr creating Wiki pages also based on the Ancient Egyptians.

Supersport Rugby

In the past week or two many of our classmates have been travelling to various towns to compete in the Supersport events.

We are very proud!

This Term we have also been named winner of the Interclass Volleyball. Mrs Brown was ecstatic about the win and we were all very happy. Our Team: Alison, Taylah, Josh, Stirling, Jake, Matariki, Tanisha, Cheyenne.

Writers Camp

Three of our classmates were accepted to go out to Castlepoint next month for a few days to work with none other than NZ author and Cartoonist Stu Duval. Elena, Caleb and Taylah are very pleased and will hopefully come away with some important skills that will come in handy in the future.

Overall

Our class is working hard and we are enjoying our time in Room 10. With our Library and technicraft sessions going well and our work up to standard no class can beat ROOM 10!!
