Agri Kids 2010 National Finals

In the school holidays 3 Agri Kids teams set off to Gore. Agri Kids is the Intermediate version of the Young Farmer of the Year Competition. The teams have three members each and they compete against 27 other teams from all over New Zealand. Some of the things they had to do were put batons on a fence, put a water trough together as well as general knowlege. To get there they had to get in the top four of the regional final.  Our teams came 1st, 3rd and 4th out of the whole East Coast from Gisborne to South Wairarapa. They did extremely well in the nationals with one team getting 2nd and the other two getting 9th and 10th respectively. There was also an individual competition in which the participants competed by themselves. Bruce got 5th out of 41 participants. He was also in the team which came 2nd with Liam and Cody.
